About Lee
Rock Lee, formerly part of the Genin team under the guidance of leader Jonin Guy, he was the teammates of Hyuga Neji and Tenten. Unlike many ninjas, he is not able to use ninjutsu or genjutsu, causing him to focus and train in taijustu. With the help of Guy, he idol, he has become a strong ninja using his techniques from taijutsu. In the third stage preliminaries of the Chunin exam, Lee was matched up against Gaara from the Hidden Village of Sand. In the match, he was forced to use his forbidden technique, but it proved costly doing great damage to his body. His bones were then badly damaged when Gaara crushed them with his sand. This left him in the hospital and his dream of becoming a ninja was somewhat over. But with the courage of Tsunade to help Lee fulfill his dream, she concluded that there was a 50% chance that the operation could result in Lee's death. But not letting his dreams fall away, Lee agreed to the operation which proved to be successful. He later on helped Shikamaru and his team on the search for Sasuke when he took the battle against Kimimaro, allowing Naruto to go after Sasuke. Although unable to defeat Kimimaro, Lee was helped out by Gaara who eventually killed Kimimaro.
